St. Luke is patron of painters and sculptors. Santa Tueteria is patroness of weavers and spinners. St. Dunstan is patron of Goldsmiths and jewelers. St. Goar is patron of potters. St. Catherine of Bolonga is patroness of artist and of craft fairs. St. Gregory the Great is patron of Singer and song writers. Santa Cecilia is patroness of music and musicians. San Bernardo is patron of candle makers. San Antonio Abad is patron of basket makers and brush makers. Patrons of the arts cover most of what we today would consider arts or crafts, but in the past they were necessities and livelihoods. Many of these saints are very, very old patrons.
