The Bear Woman
, Coyote's Aunt and the mother of the "Poker Stick children". Bear appears in myth as either a male or female. Bear is often a figure of the hunt, curing or war.






Big Horned Sheep
has great antiquity in the Hunt religions of the Southwest.






Kossa Coyote
, Coyote the trickster and clown. He was put on earth by Earthmaker to teach man how to survive by his misadventure.






Wolf
, some time Coyote's friend, sometimes his brother. He is the keeper of the night, appearing in myths from many Native Americans groups.








Puma
or Mountain Lion, an important Hunt deity. Mountain Lion or Puma is a very important god figure to the Eastern Pueblo peoples. Puma has a certain relationships with the Moon, war, Game Keeper,Mother of Game and Yellow Woman.








Rabbit
, a trickster in the South, and a nemesis of Coyote in the West. Rabbit appears in relationship with the moon and the Moon Goddess in MesoAmerica. Rabbit is a player in the Piman Creation story.
